Experience the Wisdom of the Ancients
Join us on a unique journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Koli National Park, one of Finland’s most sacred natural sites. This guided walk is an invitation to step into the ancient animistic-shamanic traditions of North Karelia, where nature is seen as a living entity and every tree, stone, and waterway holds deep wisdom.
Led by Helena Karhu, a North Karelian expert in folk culture and spiritual traditions, this immersive experience will take you through forested trails, past sacred stones, and to the legendary peaks of Koli. Along the way, you will engage in time-honored practices of nature connection, mindfulness, and storytelling rooted in Finnish-Karelian ancestral traditions.
