CONDITIONS FOR RESERVATION AND CANCELLING

HOUSE OF THE BEAR (KARHU TALO) DISCLAIMER AND CANCELLATION POLICY FOR PRIVATE CUSTOMERS

1. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION

I understand that I volunteer to participate in retreats, events, ceremonies, and rehearsals provided by Bear House. I am aware of the risks of training. I am able to consider my own involvement in terms of my health and skills. If I am unsure of my own health, I am obliged to see a doctor myself before starting or continuing the training. I understand that a folk healer or a shamanic teacher at the House of the Bear events is not a health care professional (such as a doctor) and therefore cannot give an officially approved diagnosis of what the risks of training are for me.

2. DISCLAIMER OF THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE BEAR HOUSE

Aware of the risks involved in any internships, courses, ceremonies, and retreat day programs that may be offered, such as forest walks, I disclaim all responsibility from Karhun Talo and its representatives as event organizers and / or teachers for any damage to my health or property. I choose to practice at the events, ceremonies and rehearsals offered by Bear House at my own risk.

3. INSURANCE

I am aware that as a customer I take care of my own accident and travel insurance. Some cancellation insurance is also included in the majority of travel insurance policies, but some may consider themselves necessary to obtain comprehensive cancellation insurance.

Customer's right to cancel the reservation

Cancellation must always be notified in writing to House of the Bear (Karhun Talo) by email to info@karhuntalo.com

With regard to refunds, cancellation is considered as follows. The cancellation is considered to have taken place at the moment when the information has reached House of the Bear (Karhun Talo) by e-mail. In case of cancellation, we will always charge at least € 40 for booking and office costs (see details below). Unfortunately, we are unable to refund this amount to the customer.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you cancel the course no later than 31 days before the course, we will charge € 40 for booking and office costs. If you cancel the course 30-15 days before the start of the course or event, we will charge half the price of the course. If you cancel 14 days - 0 hours before the start of the course or you do not cancel at all, we will charge the full course fee. With a medical certificate, we charge € 140 for booking and office costs, as we don't have time to get a new participant at short notice. A medical certificate must be presented upon cancellation. In the event of an obstacle, the course may be transferred to another person. Cancellation must be notified to Karhun Talo without delay.

Exceptions: Tickets paid for certain ceremonies and art events are non-refundable.

If for some reason the course does not take place, we will refund the course fee in full. However, House of the Bear (Karhun Talo) does not reimburse compensation for travel tickets already reserved for a retreat place, for example.

These cancellation and payment terms will be observed unless otherwise stated in the offer / booking confirmation. By accepting these booking and cancellation conditions, the customer agrees to them. Any disagreements will be resolved primarily through mutual negotiations.

Obligation to read the terms

The customer is obliged to read these terms and conditions as well as the terms and conditions for individual products before paying for the service. In connection with the booking and payment, the customer undertakes to comply with the terms and conditions of the contract, booking and cancellation specified by the seller for the product.

For other individual events or occasions, terms and conditions may be defined to supplement these terms. We reserve the right to make changes.
